Residence in Cuffe Parade

A home that lets its owners slow down the moment they walk through the door.
The owners of this Cuffe Parade apartment both lead demanding professional lives, so the brief was simple: create a home that would allow them to slow down the moment they walked through the door.
Every space was designed to feel calm, collected and restorative: a quiet retreat from the pace of the city. The living and dining areas flow seamlessly into one another, creating an inviting setting for entertaining close friends and family, while remaining intimate enough for everyday living. Deliberately, there is no television in the living room; conversation, connection and relaxation take centre stage here.
A separate media room serves as a dedicated lounge, a cocoon-like space to unwind, watch a film or simply switch off at the end of the day.
The primary bedroom was conceived as a sanctuary. Generous in scale, it includes a comfortable seating area where the couple can enjoy their morning coffee while looking out towards the sea. Soft, serene and uncluttered, it is a room designed for slowing down, whether reading, resting or enjoying a truly good night’s sleep.
