Azmin Kaka
Principal Designer
Hi, I’m Azmin Kaka, Principal Designer and founder of Azmin Kaka Interiors.
To me good design is far more than only aesthetics. The homes we live in influence how we feel, how we connect with others, and how we experience everyday life. My goal is to create spaces that not only look beautiful, but support and enrich the lives of the people who live in them.
After earning my diploma from the Interior Design Institute, London, I founded my studio with a simple belief: every home should feel deeply personal. I approach each project with curiosity, empathy and a meticulous attention to detail, taking the time to understand how my clients live, what they value and how they want their homes to make them feel.
My work is guided by timeless design principles rather than passing trends. I’m drawn to natural materials, thoughtful craftsmanship and layered interiors that feel collected over time. Above all, I value honesty, collaboration and creating homes that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Based in Mumbai, I work on residential and commercial projects across India. My work has been featured in the Architectural Digest and Business Standard. Whether designing a city apartment, a holiday home or a family residence, I strive to create spaces that feel calm, welcoming and enduring, places that allow their owners to slow down, reconnect and truly feel at home.

How we think
Beautiful homes are easy. A home that changes how you feel every day is the real luxury.
Material is the means, not the story. Stone, teak and plaster earn their place here because of what they do to a room at seven in the morning and again at nine at night, not because of what they cost.
The Feeling Comes First
How the morning light lands. The warmth of a material under your hand. The glow of a lamp late in the evening. How a room should feel is settled long before what it is made of.
The Confidence to Stop
Nothing forced, nothing over-designed. A room can hold a great deal of personality without asking to be noticed for it. Knowing where to stop is most of the work.
The Details You Never Notice
The colour temperature of a light. The height of a mirror. Which way a room faces, and whether a surface will still look right in ten years. You will not see these decisions. You will feel every one of them.
